Hyacinth's Story
Meet Hyacinth, a strikingly beautiful brown and white Dutchie mix estimated to be about a year old. Hyacinth came to the Center after a Good Samaritan found her abandoned under a tree in their backyard and brought her to safety.

When Hyacinth first arrived, she had a few treatable medical concerns that suggested she may not have received proper care before rescue. She had some minor dental points that were filed at the time of her spay surgery, likely caused by a lack of hay in her diet. Thankfully, with a proper rabbit diet that includes unlimited hay, these issues should be manageable moving forward.

Hyacinth also came in with a slight head tilt, which may have been caused by either an inner ear infection or E. cuniculi. She was treated for both and has been doing well as she settles into rescue life.

Despite everything she has been through, Hyacinth has remained incredibly sweet. She has a gentle personality to match her stunning looks and is ready to find a forever home where she will be loved and properly cared for from now on.

If you have read our Adoption Policy and are interested in adopting Hyacinth, please complete and submit the online Adoption Application.
