HUMPHREY

AARR volunteers were called about a growing population of abandoned domestic rabbits in a Suffolk County neighborhood. What started as a few sightings turned into a crisis: 10+ adult rabbits and multiple litters of babies living outside, vulnerable and multiplying. Humphrey is one of the rabbits that have been rescued from this case.

While he can be a bit timid at first, this curious boy warms up quickly and has settled into foster care like a total pro.

Humphrey is learning to appreciate the joys of human affection—he absolutely loves being pet, adores grooming time, and will happily hang out with you. He’s also exceptionally clean, well potty-trained, and loves taking long naps in his soft bed.

When he’s not relaxing, Humphrey is full of fun energy! He loves to explore every nook and cranny of the house, play with stackable cups and foraging mats, and zoom around the room. His favorite game? Expressing his pure joy by binkying, jumping around, and playfully leaping right over you!

Humphrey was neutered on 5/14/2026.

Please reach out to info@allaboutrabbitsrescue.org to get an adoption application. The adoption fee is $125.
