Hopscotch - local courtesy listing's Story
Hopscotch is wonderful little boy! He is a young neutered male rabbit who is very social and loves attention. He is being rehomed because his family wants a better situation for him; they are sad to let him go, but are putting his safety first.

Hopscotch is used to a large indoor play area / living space and daily pets, treats, and love. He may love a bunny friend. We are happy to offer advice on bonding and support.

Hopscotch is in great health and hasn’t had any issues. He needs an indoor home with a person or family who will see to it that he gets regular veterinary checkups and also knows the signs of GI Stasis and what to watch out for (as with any bunny). He has a record with a local vet in Madison. He is not vaccinated for RHDV2, but we are happy to assist families looking to have this done and recommend this vaccine.

Courtesy listed bunnies not in our care, but are spayed/neutered. They have no adoption fee.

We believe in forever homes. If you are interested in adopting Hopscotch, please follow our normal process. There is NO adoption fee for courtesy listing bunnies as are they are not in our care, but as always, we strongly suggest having a $400-$500 emergency fund set aside for any bunny for unexpected emergency veterinary care.

Our adoption process is described here: https://huntsvillehouserabbits.com/adoption-process

Our recommended supplies list, which includes bunny space setup, food, litter, recommended emergency kit essentials, local vets, and photos of excellent bunny setups is on the front of our website here: www.huntsvillehouserabbits.com

Note: foster-to-adopt through us is not available for courtesy posts, and is up to the discretion of the family rehoming the bunny.

We will connect your form to the family rehoming, but adoption is their choice, not ours.

As with all potential adopters, you are welcome to come by any of our community events! Many people benefit from in-person educational events. Adoption meetup and adoption day are set by the rehoming family, not us. We will assist if we can / if it is possible for us to do so. Even for courtesy rehoming cases, we support our bunnies for LIFE with care education, advice, and a wonderful welcoming community. Even years down the road, we are there for you and the bunnies.
