Hay Ride's Story

Hay Ride is a sweet, outgoing guy, who is always happy to be involved in whatever you are doing! He has cataracts that affect his vision, likely from a previous infection of E. Cuniculi, but they don't slow him down or take away from all his straw-studded qualities. He has excellent litter box habits, and loves munching on all types of hay. He loves getting head scratches so much, he will bump you with his nose or put his head directly under your hand. Bring on the full body pets for him, too. Hay Ride's favorite enrichment gadgets include puzzle toys, and snuffle mats, mostly because they involve food, but he also loves running through his tunnel! He has not found a treat that he doesn't like, but his favorites include Science Select Garden Sticks and Oxbow heart treats. He will thrive as a free roam bun -- his foster family calls him a "binky king" because with plenty of space, he loves to show how hoppy he is. He doesn't like slippery or hard surfaces though; he will explore wherever there is carpet or rugs.

Hay Ride is straw-struck by humans and dogs alike, as he adores his foster family's 2 dogs and will even binky whenever he gets to sniff them. And he has done very well with small children visiting his foster home. He generally does well being picked up for short periods. If he is held snug and pet on the head, he will chitter with glee! How could you bale on this adorable guy?
