Gumdrop's Story

Gumdrop is a sweet bun with terrible front teeth. They are useless, but as long as she can find a stem, she can pull food into her mouth and chew it with her back teeth. She can eat hay, but she enjoys fresh grass and seasonal forage to eat. Gumdrop has an abscess attached to her jawbone, and we don't know if it will spread, burst, or deteriorate her bone. She may still have years left, but we just don't know. For now, she's happy.

BunnAgain Rabbit Rescue's Adoption Policy
BunnAgain adheres to these general polices to ensure the welfare of our rabbits to the best of our ability, even after they have left our care. It is due to our deep commitment in developing responsible and informed caretakers that we must occasionally deny adoption or foster applications. Rabbits are to be kept indoors unless under close supervision in an outdoor exercise pen. Adoptive families agree to maintain contact with the rescue at a minimum of once a week for the first month, and as needed thereafter. Rabbits may be returned to the rescue at any time. If a swap is requested, the rabbit returned must be in acceptable condition to demonstrate an acceptable home environment.
