Guinness's Story
Guinness is a careful, calm lady who is equally comfortable entertaining herself and engaging with humans. She may come off as skittish at first, but that's only when she's first getting situated - she's a bit shy and takes her time to venture out into new spaces. But if you invest the time and patience, she'll open up and show you her playful side.

Guinness loves playing with sticks and hopping on top of things. Despite being a big rabbit, she's undeniably adorable, often found sitting in a perfect loaf shape. She's happiest in the presence of food, eagerly following whoever she thinks is bringing her meals. Food is her love language, and hand-feeding veggies and treats makes for an excellent bonding activity. We suspect she can easily be taught to perform tricks using treats as incentives.

Her recent foster shares, "Guinness is very calm, sweet, and patient with our small toddler, including coming up to him for food, eating out of his hands, and accepting petting and hugs. She's been around a few toddlers at a time and doesn't seem phased by them, even when adults have to intervene to prevent rough handling."

Guinness is super patient with kids - more so, in fact, than most adults. She's capable of cohabiting with a cat; they just ignore each other.

Once she warms up to you, Guinness loves to be pet and enjoys treats. She's an endearing mix of independent and affectionate - the perfect balance for someone willing to earn her trust.

Guinness is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.

Submit an adoption application for Guinness at houserabbit.org.
