Furby's Story
Furby came to us from a local shelter after being found as a stray. He is some kind of fuzzy mix with Angora type wool and he was very matted. He will require a LOT of grooming at home and periodic shavedowns (every 8 - 12 weeks) to keep him mat free and comfortable. We shaved him down immediately on intake (May 2026) and as of this listing (July 2026) just 8 weeks later he needs to be shaved down again so this kind of rabbit is not for someone who doesn't like grooming at home and committing to bringing him back for shavedowns.<br/><br/>Furby is a very nice and friendly rabbit.<br/><br/>**If you are new to house rabbits, please do your research before adding a bunny to your home. They are phenomenal companions but you must understand rabbit behavior and the level of care they require!**<br/><br/>We adopt out to indoor homes only. You must be 21 years of age to adopt.
