Five 2-month-old Bunnies's Story

We received an emergency call for help when a family with two female rabbits had an accidental litter. Imagine their surprise! So, now each of these 10-week-old rabbits is looking for a home to call their own. They have all been spayed or neutered so can safely live with another rabbit. Rabbits can make fun pets and have a whole language of hops to learn. It is important to do some research on keeping rabbits as pets before reaching out.

We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and weve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
