Evie Ann's Story

Must adopt with bond mate, StevieHi there! I'm Evie Ann or Evie, for short, the fluffy and calm bunny with the soft white fur that makes me look like a little ball of cotton. You'll always find me with my sister Stevie – we're inseparable and do everything together so we must be adopted together. My foster family thinks I've got some therapeutic bunny magic in me because I'm an expert listener and provide comfort to everyone around me, whether it's my sister, our foster family, or new friends.

I'm all about the calm vibes and love to be showered with gentle pets. Treats and food, though, are the keys to my heart. When it's mealtime, you can catch Stevie and me bounding to the edge of our pen or doing joyful circles in anticipation of the feast.

We're pretty easygoing bunnies, but we do get a tad jealous if there's another pet in the spotlight while we're in our pen. A little rattle of the cage is our way of saying, "Hey, we want in on the action!" Once we're out, though, we promise not to cause too much mischief. We've even communicated with the other bunnies in the house using our special language of strategically placed poops.

I've got some unique features too – long fur near my face and bottom that gives me a wizard or emo look, according to some. A bit of brushing helps keep it looking fabulous and prevents any pesky mats from forming.

In April of 2025 I gave my foster parents (and the whole rescue) a scare when I had to be admitted to the emergency room for liver lobe torsion. Thankfully I have fully recovered and received a clean bill of health!

Now, when it comes to personal space, I'd rather stay close to the ground. Picking me up or enclosing me in hugs isn't my favorite, but I'm always up for a good petting session. I love meeting new friends, both young and old, as long as it involves some quality time on the ground.

As for other animals, I haven't had the chance to mingle with non-rabbit creatures yet. Cats are in the house, but we keep our distance. It's a bit of a mystery how I'd fare with other furry friends, but I'm open to the possibility!

I can't wait to find a forever home where I can be the laid-back, attentive bunny companion alongside my beloved sister and our two-leg family. Let the adventures begin!

Check us out on TikTok!

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8xvkSJh/
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8vCrxPE/

*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed

on a case-by-case basis.*

If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at:
http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com
.

Gender: Female

Approximate birthdate: 1/30/2023

Approximate weight: 9.8 pounds

Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax)

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
