Emily's Story
Pellets: Unlimited Oxbow Essentials Young (AM)
Hay: Unlimited mixed hay with handful of Alfalfa (All day)
Salad: 1 cup spring mix, romaine lettuce, cilantro, parsley (PM)

Meet Emily, a wonderful little lionhead who was born in July 2025 in foster care. She is a bright, and inquisitive young bunny. We're still getting to know her, but so far she's shown us how sweet, and friendly she can be, though she'll still need a little time to build trust in a new home. She keeps her area fairly clean and absolutely enjoys having room to stretch, explore, and binky. Emily will thrive with adopters who can give her patience, space, and plenty of enrichment.

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. The virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit. Please make sure to vaccinate your rabbits every year. For more information, please visit our website at: https://sandiegorabbits.org/education/rhdv
