Meet Elliot Rose! This little darling was a baby when rescued and has grown up in her foster home to be a sweet, social "lap bunny"! <br/><br/>Elliot Rose, called "ER" for short, was rescued from an angry grandmother who threatened to dump the two rabbits she bought for her bored granddaughter as a surprise Easter gift. The granddaughter was disinterested in the rabbits, so the grandmother angrily called and made threats over the phone to our rescue. We are thankful ER and Trixie could be saved.<br/><br/>ER is a very curious bunny. She is not shy and is happy to meet new people! She's a real sweetheart. She was named in honor of the beloved daughter of an outstanding Huntsville community member who is a friend of our rescue. <br/><br/>Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care and an indoor, safe living space! Rabbits need daily Timothy hay, nutritious pellets, greens/veggies, and a bowl of fresh water. Free-roaming or exercise pens work best! We especially recommend this if you are new to rabbits or it has been many years, have small children or multiple pets, or have any history with 4H (as their instruction is often extremely lacking / incorrect).<br/><br/>Please reach out if you have any questions! We must have a form from you first. We find that this helps tremendously in helping adopters find the rabbit that is right for them.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee for a single rabbit is $100 or $150 for a bonded pair (less than the cost of spay or neuter alone for a single bunny).
