Doodlebug's Story

Meet Doodlebug!

Doodlebug was found in the Cabot area off the side of the road. Luckily for her, a couple spotted her and knew she wasn’t meant to be there.

Once she came into our possession, it was clear to us that she has been neglected for quite a while in her short life. She is malnourished and has odd hair loss all over her body. We did check for fleas, ticks and mites but do not see any evidence of them. We are preemptively treating for them anyways, though. We suspected the hair loss was stress induced or from malnutrition.

Since she was rescued, her hair has grown back beautifully! She is still growing out the staining, though.
