Cosmo's Story

Cosmo is looking for his forever home!!

Cosmo came from a hoarding case that a local shelter took on. 37 bunnies came from one home in neglectful, filthy conditions. All of them lived packed in tiny cages, fighting each other and breeding. We pulled 8 bunnies to help them with space!

Cosmo is very confident, curious, and energetic! He loves to binky and explore his new space! He's a fun bunny! He does need daily brushing to keep up with his longer hair, and occasional hair trims (with clippers only, never use scissors!) to keep the hair out of his eyes.

As is common with lop breeds, Cosmo is deaf. This does not stop him though!! He just may seem slow to react when you enter the room, but he is excited when he finally sees you! This means it is all the more important to keep his hair out of his eyes. He relies on his vision for everything!

Cosmo has done well with cats and dogs. He hasn't been bunny tested yet, but can go on bunny meet and greets if bonding is desired! Be careful with introductions since he cannot hear verbal cues like growling or screeching.

Cosmo is about 2 years old. He's been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on his RHDV2 vaccine.

*An application, vet reference, and housing requirement is required prior to adoption

**Cages and hutches are not suitable housing for bunnies and will not be approved as part of housing unless one or more doors are permanently removed

***INDOOR PET ONLY HOME
