Cinnamon (bonded to Biscuit)'s Story
Pellets: 1x/day 1/4 cup Adult Oxbow Essentials (AM)
Hay: Unlimited mixed hay (All day)
Salad: 1x/day 1 cup spring mix, romaine lettuce, cilantro, parsley (PM)

Cinnamon is a Dutch mix who had been singularly adopted out in 2023, and returned with his bonded partner, Biscuit, in October 2025. Cinnamon initially arrived at SDHRS in 2023 after having been in the care of a series of different caretakers who were housing him outdoors and being unable to socialize and provide enrichment for Cinnamon. When Cinnamon first arrived to us, he was a little grumpy and opinionated and understandably wary of strangers.

After being returned in 2025, Cinnamon's kept a lot of his big personality. He is a little hesitant of being pet by strangers, and would prefer a little trust building first. He is very excited for food, and is a great chewer of toys. Cinnamon and Biscuit are tidy and good with their litter box. They are both spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you are interested in adding an adorable bonded bunny pair to your family, they may be the perfect fit!

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. The virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit. Please make sure to vaccinate your rabbits every year. For more information, please visit our website at: https://sandiegorabbits.org/education/rhdv
