Cider's Story

Must adopt with bond mate, MaizeHi there! My name’s Cider. Me and my son Maize are best buddies and must be adopted together.

I’ve come a long way. My early days were tough... I had litter after litter during my first year and didn’t get the care I needed. It left me tired, thin, and worn out. But everything changed when I came into rescue. That’s when I finally got the love, rest, and yummy food I’d been missing. Now I live the good life with my son, Maize, and I’m feeling (and looking!) fabulous—fluffy Lionhead fur and all.

These days, I absolutely love people. I enjoy sitting with you, soaking up pets, and giving you a little side-eye if you stop too soon (I will notice). I also love my zoomies and practicing my high jumps from the couch—Olympics, here I come!

I do best with a routine—it makes me feel safe and confident knowing everything I need will be right there when I expect it. I'm a very good hay eater and I adore mowing down piles of hay. One of the best parts of my day? Treat time. I never miss my nightly “cookie” or a piece of dried apple. Pure bliss.

Are you ready for a sweet and spunky bun pair to hop into your life?

*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed

on a case-by-case basis.*

If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.

Gender: Female (spayed)

Approximate birthdate: 12/1/2023

Approximate weight: 3.26 pounds

Adoption fee for Pair: $150.00 (+tax)

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
