Christa's Story

Must adopt with bond mates, Jenny & Phyllis
Hi there, I'm CHRISTA, one of the three adorable bunny friends seeking our forever home. We had quite the adventure, as we were rescued from a meat farm when we were just a few weeks old. They thought we were "annoying and naughty" with our 13 siblings, but we've proven to be a joy in our foster home.

I'm the outgoing, adventurous and curious one in our trio. When you meet me, you might notice that I take a bit to warm up, but once I do, I'm an absolute sweetheart, a great buddy to have! I can't resist running to greet you, especially if there are treats involved – yum! My daily routine is pretty simple – as long as I get my greens, I'm a happy bunny.

Now, let me tell you about my mischievous side. I can get into a bit of trouble if I don't have the right outlets for my chewing urges. That's why it's important for me to have plenty of chewing toys and some time to roam around outside of my pen. With these in place, I'm a well-behaved girl.

I'm not too high-maintenance when it comes to grooming, and my litterbox habits are still developing, but I'm easy to clean up after. I've got a decent amount of energy, and I love to romp around on rugs or carpet where I can get good traction to cruise around. I also love to jump on top of things; it's so much fun!

When it comes to my favorite foods, I'm a fan of romaine, cilantro, and apples – they're just irresistible. My pellets are Oxbow brand.

As for snuggles, I'll tolerate a few minutes of them, but I'd rather be petted and come to you for snuggles on my own terms. I can be a bit shy at first, but I'm great with older calm and respectful children. I do get scared around other animals in the household, but if your cat or dog is calm and doesn't pay attention to me or my sisters, I might be OK. I thrive when I have my rabbit buddies, Jenny and Phyllis, with me so we must be adopted together.

One thing you should know about me is that I absolutely adore my circle cardboard toy. It's my happy place, and I could spend hours exploring it. So, if you're looking for an adventurous, curious, and sweet bunny to join your home, please consider adopting me and my two pals, Jenny and Phyllis. We'd love nothing more than to be together in our forever home soon.

Check us out on TikTok!

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8xv2982/
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8vCnoAF/

*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed

on a case-by-case basis.*

If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.

Gender: Female

Approximate birthdate: 1/30/2023

Approximate weight: 5.6 pounds

Adoption fee for the Trio: $160.00 (+tax)

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
