Chip 's Story
This sweet lady is an estimated 4 yrs old and weighs approximately 5lbs. She was surprisingly athletic for a mini lop and harder to catch than we anticipated. You have to work for her affection, as she doesn't give it right away, but when she gets there, she loves ear massages. She gets very excited for food in the morning and will run around her enclosure when she knows she's about to be fed. We have tried several times to give her a friend. So far, Chip has indicated that she is happiest as an only bunny.

She is bunny house-trained- which means she's pretty tidy with her litterbox, but will still leave dropping occasionally or in new places. Bunny's teeth also never stop growing, so bunny proofing is required.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Must be 18 years of age or older.

2. Must have a current state-approved identification card or driver’s license.

3. Must not be banned from future adoptions as a result of a court order.

4. If renting, must provide a pet addendum.

5. Must provide details of the bunny’s living situation (cages and hutches are not permitted).

6. Applicants may be subject to a home check and must pass an adoption screening.

7. Must pay an adoption fee of $150.

8. If a current bunny owner, must provide proof of sterilization and RHDV2 vaccination for existing rabbits

Disclaimer: Filling out an application does not guarantee that the adoption will be approved.

While we try to respond immediately- we are a small Rescue operation, with limited staffing.

Please allow up to 24-48 business hours for us to respond.
