Casden's Story
Casden is considered a Plush Lop. He has thick dense fur with the cutest wave of curly-q's down the back of his head and neck.

Casden enjoys quiet affectionate moments with gentle hoomans. He's still young and playful, so plenty of free-roaming time and enrichment is important for his well-being.

Casden was surrendered due to failing to bond with another rabbit in the home. The family was moving and had no room for a second set up for him.

Casden needs a quiet and predictable home with a patient Adopter who is willing to work on earning his trust. Fast, unpredictable motions stress and overwhelm him. He has a history of resorting to biting as the only defense he understands. Prefers a home with no children, dogs, nor cats please.

Casden is neutered and may still have the ability to bond with the right rabbit. We are always working with the rabbits to help them find their true bond-bun, as they thrive best with their own kind. Could your bunny be "THE Bun"? Or maybe your a home-body with plenty of time to fill his companionship needs. Fill out the application and, once approved, we'll schedule a Meet 'n' Greet to see if your household might be a bunderful match.

* Indoor Home Only *

Bunnies live an average of 8-10 years, but could live up to 16 or even longer! While they do enjoy gentle pets and head rubs, bunnies generally do not like to be picked up or held as they are prey animals and it can be very scary for them. They also need lots of space to move around, run, binky and play - so no small hutches nor cages. They are social animals who want to be with you and should be accepted as part of the family. They also thrive best in bonded pairs, especially during the hours you are otherwise occupied. They need vet visits just like a dog or cat and will require a yearly vaccination against RHDV2. This is a highly contagious and deadly virus.

Please do your research before adding any pet to your family. Visit rabbit.org for accurate, up-to-date bunny information. We are happy to answer any questions you may have before and after adoption, as well as assist in helping you decide whether bunnies are right for you. We offer ongoing support and encourage ongoing learning to ensure that you and your bunnies thrive.

Please find a place in your heart and home for unwanted, discarded rescue animals. Thank you for adopting, not shopping!
