Bugz's Story

Bugz came to us after another local shelter asked us to take her in. She had been found living on the streets, covered in ticks and suffering from botfly larvae. Thankfully, she was rescued in time and received the care she needed. Since then, she has had a veterinary health check, been treated with medication, vaccinated, and will be scheduled for her spay soon.

We were told that Bugz was a friendly bunny, and she has proven that to be absolutely true. In fact, she may be one of the most social rabbits we've ever met!

Bugz has been thriving in her foster home. Her foster family reports that she has been a wonderful addition to the household. She gets along well with their cats and has also done well meeting other rabbits that her foster mom pet-sits.

Bugz would be a perfect match for a home looking for a cuddly, affectionate, and outgoing rabbit. She would make an excellent companion for another bunny seeking a bonded partner and would likely be a wonderful "bunny wife" for a friendly resident rabbit. Being young, adaptable, and incredibly social, we expect her transition into a new home to be smooth and easy. Just be prepared to give her plenty of love, attention, and cuddles!

Whether you're new to rabbit ownership or an experienced bunny parent looking for a companion for your current rabbit, Bugz could be the perfect addition to your family. If you're searching for a sweet, friendly rabbit with a big personality and an even bigger heart, please consider giving Bugz the loving home she deserves.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO APPLY?

If you would like to meet Bugz , please submit an inquiry from Petfinder by clicking "Start your inquiry" on the top of this page.

Or reach out directly via email to: animal.shelter@vancouver.ca

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
All rabbits at Animal Services have veterinary health checks, and are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and defleaed (if necessary) before going to their new homes.
Adoption Fee: $50

For more information on our adoption process, go to vancouver.ca/adopt
