Blanche's Story
My name is Blanche. I am an adorable lionhead rabbit with the heart of a lion. You might call me a diva or you might just call me a strong, independent woman.
My foster mom is so impressed with my litter box habits. I’ve literally never peed outside of my litter box! I don’t leave many droppings around my room either (okay, maybe a couple per day, but that’s still pretty impressive if you ask me).
I love any sort of toy or habitat thing that I can chew up or rearrange. My foster mom sometimes makes me mad by rearranging the boxes and toys in my room, but it’s fun for me to get back to work putting everything back exactly where I want it.
I’m not much of a snuggler. I’ll accept some head pets while you’re feeding me, but other than that, I’d prefer you admire me with your eyes and your words. However, I’ve come super far in the months that my foster mom has had me, so I might just keep getting better at accepting physical affection (in addition to the praise that I’m sure you’ll be pouring upon me).
What I lack in snuggly-ness, I make up for in entertainment. People think I’m absolutely hilarious. Whether I’m doing zoomies around the room, acting far too brave for an animal my size, or being very particular about where I want everything to be in my room, I’m always making my foster mom laugh.
I lived with a dog for a few months, separated by a baby gate, and I was never afraid of her. We both liked to check each other out (some cautious nose-touching through the gate) and then leave each other alone, so I think I would do well in a home that has a dog as long as they keep their distance and aren’t interested in playing with me.
I might like a rabbit friend, but I’d probably have to find someone who is happy to let me be the boss.
I’d be the perfect addition to a home where my new family isn’t looking for snuggles and is patient about me warming up to physical attention. But I won’t bore you! You might be happy enough to just watch my antics.

I would love to meet you and maybe become a part of your family. If you think I sound interesting, send an email to MCRS at --> info@mncompanionrabbit.org

You can complete an application at --> https://www.mncompanionrabbit.org/adoption-application

All MCRS rabbits are sterilized, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2. Thank you for being interested in adopting a homeless rabbit!
