Bijeli's Story

Bijeli is an adventurous guy. When presented with a new place - he is all about exploring. He will almost always come over to say hello from his enclosure and then sit for pets. He is so incredibly gentle taking his treats, you don't even know if he actually got it or not. He has progressed from extremely independent to thoroughly enjoying a lengthy pet. He will sit on your lap while you watch TV, he is such a relaxed layed back guy, but let him roam & he will reward you by tossing his head & do little kicks & binkies. He came to us thin and underweight and now he is a very healthy robust little guy (actually midsize) bun. On rare occasion he has climbed out of his enclosure - he will also open the door if its not very securely latched! He really prefers to be free roaming. If he can not safely free roam or until he can, he would be best in an enclosure that has a top to it or he can be in a room he may be closed off when he is left alone or at night. He has been around cats and does not have a problem with them even will take a snooze with them.
