Bennett is a new intake and (as of mid October 2025), we are getting to know him. He seems gentle and not afraid of people if given a little bit of time to warm up. He is an angora rabbit and seems to be about 2 years old or close (estimated). He was rescued by caring family members of an individual who abandoned him and had neglected him. <br/><br/>Angora rabbits have special fur that needs regular brushing. They are very soft bunnies, and usually have very gentle, sweet personalities. Bennett came to us very matted and has recently been sheared. We are happy to teach about care and maintenance for this special affectionate breed. It’s not too much work if you know how to care for the fur!<br/><br/>Bennett will be neutered this month (October 2025) and vaccinated for RHDV2. He is hoping to find a forever home who will love him and never neglect him. He wants a family to trust very badly!<br/><br/>Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care and an indoor, safe living space! Rabbits need daily Timothy hay, nutritious pellets, greens/veggies, and a bowl of fresh water. Free-roaming or exercise pens work best! We especially recommend this if you are new to rabbits or it has been many years, have small children or multiple pets, or have any history with 4H (as their instruction is often extremely lacking / incorrect).<br/><br/>Please reach out if you have any questions! We must have a form from you first. We find that this helps tremendously in helping adopters find the rabbit that is right for them.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee for a single rabbit is $100 or $150 for a bonded pair (less than the cost of spay or neuter alone for a single bunny).
