Alanis’ medical information post echocardiogram:
Alanis was diagnosed with very mild mitral insufficiency, or a very small leak in the valve between her left ventricle and atrium. Heart disease is not likely to develop, but we do want to keep an eye on it for any progression. The cardiologist recommends a recheck echocardiogram in 2 years. Bloodwork from last month was good!
