    Our Mission

    Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter, Inc was established April 2010. The doors  opened June 20, 2011. The name was chosen to reflect the 'brighter tomorrow' for our pets and their people. The mission of CDAS is to protect animals from suffering and cruelty. Our primary emphasis is to provide care for domestic cats and dogs until forever homes are found. We enhance the lives of our pets and people through education and adoption. CDAS supports activities that improve the general welfare of animals. Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter... Accepts domestic cats and dogs Is a private, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization Does not euthanize for space and does not put a time limit on adoptable pets Receives no government funding Relies heavily on the generosity of our supporters Works with rescue groups for pet placement when needed Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter is licensed by the WI Dept of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection.     Adoption Policy

    Dog adoption fee is $300 for puppies less than 6 months old, $200 for 6-12 months of age and $175 for dogs over one year of age. Seniors 7 years of age and up are $75. This includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, deworming, flea/tick medicine, heartworm testing and distemper/parvovirus/lepto and Bordetella vaccinations.  Microchipping and engraved dog tag are also included. Kitten adoption fee is $80 with adults $40(although specials can occur!) which includes spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccination, deworming, FeLV testing and rabies vaccination if age appropriate.  Microchipping is also included.
