Our Mission
Finding Eden Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue serving the Chippewa Valley in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We rescue animals from abuse, neglect, and high-euthanasia shelters across the country and give them a second chance at life. We provide immediate safety, exceptional veterinary care, rehabilitation, and loving foster homes — never letting finances decide an animal’ s fate. Through spay/neuter advocacy and responsible placement, we work to break the cycle of overbreeding and suffering. Our vision is a world where every animal experiences their own Eden – a life free from fear, hunger, abuse, and neglect – surrounded by safety, healing, and love.
Adoption Policy
1. Animals are not to be adopted as gifts or surprises.
2. All members of the household (including dogs for a dog adoption) must be present at the m+g.
3. Food, fresh water, and appropriate shelter must be provided at all times.
4. All animals must live indoors only, unless they are specifically labeled as a barn/working cat.
5. Full compliance with all local licensing, leash, and animal control laws must be followed.
6. If you can no longer keep the animal for any reason, you must contact FER immediately and
return the animal to FER at your expense. You may not surrender the animal to any shelter, pound, or third party. FER will make reasonable efforts to accept the return but cannot guarantee immediate space.
7. FER makes no warranties regarding the animal’s health, temperament, behavior, age, breed, or suitability.
8. Adoption fees are non-refundable.
