Adoption Policy

PUP is dedicated to finding the best homes possible for the dogs in our care. Our commitment to potential adopters is to provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding the health and behavior of the dog(s). We strive to make each match a success based on the needs and personality of the dog and the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter.
The first step toward adoption from PUP is to complete an adoption application.

We talk with potential adopters and arrange for meetings once their applications are approved and if they are the best match for a particular dog. Meetings with our dogs are scheduled at a mutually agreeable time and location or at one of our adoption events. Please visit our Facebook page for information on our next event. All members of the family, including current dogs, must meet to help ensure it's a good match before an adoption occurs.
