Our Mission
Hugs Cat Sanctuary (EIN: 33-2007549) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing a safe haven for injured, disabled, and feral cats who would otherwise face euthanasia. We provide medical care, socialization, and a loving environment, with the goal of rehoming those who become adoptable. Those who cannot be adopted remain safe with us - for life. Every cat deserves love, care, and a second chance.
Adoption Policy
We have a very in-depth screening process for every potential adapter:
First, we give interested people an adoption application questionnaire, and review the questions thoroughly.
If we are satisfied with their answers, then we then have a phone screening.
If we are satisfied of the phone screening, then we schedule an in person meet and greet with the cat(s).
After that, we have a home visit.
If everything checks out, then we deliver the cat for adoption.
