Our Mission
Beauty Through The Rust is committed to saving the tiniest of lives, to working to TNR Community Cats in Central VA and to save the lives of at-risk animals through networking and transport. Unwanted animals are sad, hurt, sick, confused, angry and desperate. We look underneath the scars, the flaws, the rusty patches and see the beauty that lies within each one of them. To us, being a rescuer means more than just saving lives. It means recognizing that there is always Beauty Through The Rust.
Adoption Policy
Understand that the needs of the animal come first – and as such we will be checking references and may include a home visit as part of the adoption process. Our primary goal is to match animals with living situations that are best suited for their life-long care. We do not process applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We appreciate your interest in our organization and the adoption process.
