Atlantic Region Central Border Collie Rescue (ARCBCR)
We are so excited to have a new, updated space on PetFinder! Our dogs are ready to meet their furever homes!
We're a group of dedicated volunteers who's primary focus is to rehabilitate and rehome Border Collie, BC mixed breed and herding dogs. Together we hope we can help find you a new best friend and family member!
Atlantic Region Central Border Collie Rescue (ARCBCR) is a dream come true for a passionate group of Border Collie lovers who have the good fortune of meeting, and befriending each other through past rescue work.
The purpose of ARCBCR is to rescue Border Collies and Border Collie mixes from situations that are neglectful, abusive, and inappropriate. We take in dogs from shelters, dogs found as strays, and dogs that can no longer be kept by their current families.
We provide a loving and caring foster home, all necessary veterinarian care, including spay or neuter, and any rehabilitation a dog might need to acclimate into their furever homes.
Please note that our rescue does not have a public facility, therefore there are no visiting hours. Appointments to visit with the available dogs are made after the application process has been completed by our volunteers.
Are you interested in a dog of your very own? We can't wait to help you find and meet your new family member. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or at www.arcbcr.org/ to learn more about our adoptable dogs. You can ask us about a specific listed dog, or fill out an adoption applications and we'll try to match you with the best fit!
If you adopt a dog from ARCBCR, it will come to you spayed or neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and current on heartworm preventative. Our adoption fees are $300.00 for most our our adult dogs, $200.00 for Sweet Seniors, and $400 for puppies 6 months and under. Prices are subject to change at any time and without notice.
All ARCBCR dogs live with foster families until they are ready to be adopted. We do not have a physical shelter and we do not kennel. Once you have completed the application process and home evaluation you will be able to visit our dogs in their foster homes which are located in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and some parts of Maryland.
