Sweet Life Rescue

Our Mission

Shelters and rescues are overflowing with homeless, abandoned and surrendered dogs. Their lives depend on our diligence and commitment to making a difference. 

Sweet Life Rescue is a purposefully small, 501(c) (3) non profit organization run by volunteers. Our main focus is rescuing homeless puppies that are in rural and/or high kill shelters where intake rates are high and adoption rates are low. Many rural area shelters have litters of puppies turned in on a regular basis and there are not enough homes available to adopt them. Many of the shelters we work with have very limited funding, space and time available for the dogs at their shelter.  We help pups in this situation by bringing them into our rescue and providing individual attention, access to medical care and the time to find the perfect forever home. Our potential adopters go through a rigorous screening process that helps us determine the very best match for each pup that we place. 

"Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog the world is forever changed". This is the thought that motivates us to move forward and make a difference in the dog rescue effort.
