Adoption Policy
To adopt an animal from the Caroline County Animal Shelter you must reside within Caroline County or one of the following counties (unless the animal is already sterilized): Hanover, King George, Essex, Spotsylvania, Stafford, King and Queen, and King William. Adoption Fees: Adult Dogs: $60 *adoption fee includes spay/neuter Puppies: $60 Cats and Kittens: $60 *Adoption fees include spay/neuter, Dogs/Cats that are already spayed/neutered: $10 There will be an additional charge of $15 for a 30 day flea/tick preventative upon release.
