Our Mission

Texoma Center for Sustainable Welfare is dedicated to keeping pets and families together while reducing shelter overcrowding across Grayson County. We provide humane Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) for community cats, temporary crisis pet housing, community pet food support, and targeted medical rescue to keep animals safe, healthy, and in caring homes.

Adoption Policy

Our goal is to make safe, lasting matches. All prospective adopters complete an application and consultation. Prior to adoption, pets receive full veterinary care: physical exam, core vaccinations, broad-spectrum deworming, flea prevention, microchip, and spay/neuter. Young puppies or kittens adopted prior to surgical weight require an enforceable sterilization agreement. We provide lifetime return support for every animal adopted through our rescue.
