Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, neglected, and abused animals. Here at A Second DogGone Chance Rescue and Sanctuary, we provide a second chance at life to dogs and cats who were once abandoned or mistreated. We live by the saying, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” and here at A Second DogGone Chance Rescue and Sanctuary EVERY dog and cat is an absolute treasure!
Adoption Policy
1: Fill out the screening through Pet Finder Pro
2: We review every inquiry
3: If we approve the screening an application will be emailed to any potential adopters
4: Application will be reviewed after being filled out by applicant
5: If the application is approved, we will set up a telephone screening
6: If the screening call goes well, we then require the applicant to provide three references and will proceed with completing their reference checks as well. If the applicant has other pets, a vet reference check will be required!
7. Home check is required, if applicant lives out of state a virtual home check will be required
8: Final Approval!
