Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the prevention of cruelty to animals by providing services including the rescue, care, veterinary treatment, and placement of abandoned pets. We strive to raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering, as well as responsible pet ownership. Our ultimate goal is to reduce pet overpopulation and prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of animals in the State of Texas.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between pets and their forever families, whether local or out of state. Interested adopters begin by filling out an adoption application. We carefully review the application, including reference checks, to ensure a safe and suitable environment. For both local and out-of-state applicants, we work closely with each adopter to determine if the home and lifestyle are the right fit for the pet’s needs.
Meet-and-greets are arranged when possible, and virtual introductions can be done for long-distance adopters. A home check is required for every adoption, conducted either in person or virtually. Once approved, we finalize the adoption paperwork, collect the adoption fee, and coordinate safe transport for out-of-state placements. Every step is taken with the goal of creating a happy, lifelong match; no matter the distance.
