Our Mission
OLD WEST NEWFOUNDLAND CLUB RESCUE, is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) organization committed to assisting Newfoundlands in need. Our goal is for every Newfoundland to have a home as wonderful as the breed itself so we provide information, tips and advice to individuals who need assistance and provide rescue and placement of Newfoundlands who would otherwise be homeless.
Adoption Policy
The first step is to submit an adoption application. Once an application is received an OWNCR member will contact the individual. From there all references will be checked and a home visit performed. We’re committed to placing our Newfs in the best homes for their specific needs, it is not first come first served.
