Sugar Glider Guardians
Our Mission
Sugar Glider Guardians is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping gliders in need and educating owners on the best practices of glider husbandry. Sugar Glider Guardians was founded because of the overwhelming number of sugar gliders who are neglected, in danger, and poorly cared for.
At Sugar Glider Guardians, we focus on helping gliders by networking to find homes for sugar gliders in need, and fundraising so we can make financial contributions for veterinary care. We also focus on neutering, mentoring, arranging transportation, compiling useful resources, and general education relating to sugar gliders. Through donations, education, and partnerships, we are able to help hundreds of sugar gliders and owners every year.

We accept donations of new and gently used items, as well as monetary donations, and we value our partnerships with veterinarians, businesses, and other charitable organizations. Adoption Policy
The potential adopter first completes a written application. They are then interviewed. We may ask for pictures of any current sugar gliders and their set up. If approved, they sign a contract and pay the adoption fee. We offer free online mentoring and have a robust mentoring program. We also have numerous tip sheets, a Vet listing, approved vendors, our Safety Saturday posts on Facebook, and many other resources.
