Alaska's Hope Animal Rescue
Our Mission
At Alaska’s Hope Animal Rescue, a no-kill, facility- and foster-based nonprofit just outside of Houston, our mission is to ensure that no animal endures the pain of life on a chain, abandonment, abuse, or neglect. We are committed to supporting and preserving the precious lives entrusted to our care, no matter the challenges we face. Our volunteers work tirelessly to assist dogs in distress — regardless of age, breed, or the difficulty of placement — with a special dedication to saving even the most difficult cases. At Alaska’s Hope, every life matters.
Adoption Policy
At Alaska’s Hope Animal Rescue, our goal is to ensure every pet is matched with the right family. After submitting an adoption application, one of our volunteers will review it and contact you for a brief interview. We may also conduct a virtual or in-person home visit to ensure a safe environment for the pet. Once approved, we will arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal. If it’s a good match, an adoption contract is signed, and the adoption fee is collected. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed before adoption. We are here to support adopters throughout the transition and beyond to help ensure a happy, successful placement.
