Bastrop Animal Rescue

Bastrop Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization whose mission is to save and improve the lives of animals in Bastrop County, Texas. We provide life-saving medical care for at-risk dogs and cats in the local shelter and community. We also work with members of the community to provide the education and resources needed to be responsible pet owners. Bastrop Animal Rescue (BAR) is funded entirely by donations. We have no shelter or facility. The pets in our care are fostered in volunteer foster homes until they find their new loving, responsible, lifelong homes.
