Purrfect Pals Rescue

Austin, TX

Our Mission

Founded in 2009, Purrfect Pals Rescue is a 501c(3) non-profit group with a handful of committed volunteers who rescue, raise, and safely re-home about 100 orphaned and abandoned kittens, and some adult cats, every year. We foster kittens out of our homes, and the kittens live with us until forever homes can be found. Many kittens come to us as newborns needing to be bottle-raised. Some are sick or injured and need special care to raise them into healthy, loving pets.

Adoption Policy

If you are interested in a kitten please fill out the adoption application and email it to info@purrfectpalsrescue.com.

After completing the application we will arrange for a private visit. After the adoption process the cat(s) will be delivered to you.

Please note that we are all volunteers with our own full-time jobs and do the work with the kitties in our spare time. For that reason, our adoption area is limited to Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto, Lakeway, Leander, Pflugerville or Round Rock.

We do not place kittens with people under 21 years of age, college undergraduate students, and families with live-in children under school age.

Adoption Donation:

We ask for a donation to help us pay for the minimum vet services that we provide for each kitty in the first year. This, as are all donations, is completely tax deductible. The following services are performed on each kitty.

De-Worming - $10
FIV/Leukemia Test - $30
Spay/neuter surgery - $70-$100
Microchiping - $10
Rabies - $15
FVRCP (vaccinates for FVR, calcivirus, and panleukopenia) - $20

Our other expenses include formula and food, vet visits for sick kittens, and medications. See the Donations page for more details.

Kittens that are too young for surgery will be adopted under a pre-paid spay/neuter contract with the owner agreeing to take the cat to one of the clinics we use, on the appointed date. This is also when the rabies vaccination and micro-chipping are performed.
