Our Mission

Ruff Life Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer, foster home based organization. Our mission is to rescue lost, homeless and abandoned dogs from our community and the surrounding area. We care for, protect and provide the animals with medical care, including spay or neuter, until adoption into a loving, forever home. We also provide a safe haven for those dogs who require sanctuary for the rest of their lives.

Adoption Policy

In order to be considered for adoption you must: -Be 25 years of age or older -Live within 60 miles of Fort Mill, SC -Complete an adoption application by going to adopt.ruffliferescue.com. Once complete, please submit the application via email to info@ruffliferescue.com -Have consent of your landlord (if renting) -Allow Ruff Life to contact both vet and personal references -Have an interview with a Ruff Life representative -Consent to a home visit by a Ruff Life representative Our adoption fee for dogs is $250. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, fecal tested and up to date on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Puppies are up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Adults are also up to date on vaccines and heart worm tested (and treated if positive). Our adoption application can be found online at adopt.ruffliferescue.com
