Save the Strays Animal Rescue

Save the Strays Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was organized in 2003, incorporated as a South Carolina nonprofit in January 2004, and recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 tax-exempt public charity in 2005. We take abandoned and unwanted dogs into our homes and give them the care and love they need to restore their health and spirit. Then we place them into carefully screened adoptive homes where they will be treated as cherished family members. As a sanctuary, we also provide lifelong care for dogs who are not adopted due to age, health or behavior.
