Oregon Weimaraner Rescue

Our Mission

Oregon Weimaraner Rescue (501c3), serving Oregon, Washington and Idaho, is dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for Weimaraners in need. We are a 100% volunteer organization squeezing time out of our lives beyond the hours of our day jobs to pay the bills. We are able to continue helping Weimaraners thanks to our generous supporters and volunteers who help with everything from fostering dogs to facilitating home visits and providing transportation. This is a group effort and we truly appreciate each and every person we have had the pleasure to work with for the love of a Weim.

All of our rescues are located within a network of foster homes, not in a designated building. As such, we do not have visiting hours or a location to visit. If you are interested in meeting a rescue dog, please fill out an application and we will work to arrange a visit if it appears a possible match might be made between applicant and rescue.
