Our Mission
Guardians for the Animals of Ohio is an approved non-profit 501(c)3 Rescue organization dedicated to saving & rescuing dogs across state of Ohio.
We will dedicate our time & efforts to collaborate with the entire rescue community, as well as the dog loving public through education, training, Pit Bull Angel Program, shelter diversion program, and work hard to rescue & save the most lives.

Adoption Policy

Meeting one of our dogs does not guarantee adoption. We receive multiple applications for the same dog, and must make a determination on which home is best. This isn't something we like to do but means that sometimes we have to turn down great people - please don't take it personally!
In those cases where there are more than one adoption application on a dog, we strive to place the dog in the home that is the best match for the dog. We will attempt to contact you with regret letters when that happens and encourage you to apply to adopt another dog in our rescue.
