Our Mission
Our goal is happy, healthy pets in loving, forever homes. When, due to unforeseen circumstances, pets find themselves lacking, our aim is to get their tags wagging again with health of mind, body, soul and once again in a safe, loving environment.
Adoption Policy
All potential fosters and adopters are required to provide at least one veterinarian reference for current and former pets, complete an application and interview with our principle veterinarian and key staff members, attend several interactive meetings between foster/adopter and pet including resident family members. Those fostering are required to return to For Pet's Sake for ongoing care at no cost. Adopted pets still undergoing treatment for certain conditions(such as an active heartworm infection) are also required to return; the completion of their care is also at no charge.
