Adoption Policy
One of the most heart-warming services we offer is animal adoption - matching families with the pet they have been longing for and sending our dogs and cats to a loving nuturing home where they will be cared for the rest of their lives. Then stop by and visit our shelter to interact with one of these great animals.
There is an adoption fee and a New York State required spay/neuter deposit if the animal is not already altered at the time of adoption.
All adoptions come standard with Immunization records, a 5 day free exam, and Adoption Care Kit.
The Ontario County Humane Society at Happy Tails Animal Shelter is located at 2976 County Road 48, Canandaigua, New York 14424(USA). We house many lost and abandoned dogs and cats waiting on new forever homes.
