Our Mission

Desert Haven Animal Rescue is operated by The Sierra County Humane Society, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the welfare of animals and governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. Adoption Policy

Please send an inquiry via email to DHanimalrescue@gmail.com to learn more about the pet you're interested in, or go straight to our website to complete our adoption application. Our volunteer will be in touch with you via email. Meetings with our dogs and cats are by appointment and can be arranged with our volunteer. We are a small, all-volunteer animal welfare organization and we have no manpower to offer transportation for our dogs or cats. Thank you for considering adoption!
