Adoption Policy
For in-person adoptions, we request that they come visit with the animal and fill out an adoption application, which is vetted. We like to speak to them about their history of pet ownership and pass on as much information as possible. If they pass, the City collects the adoption fee and finishes the paperwork.
For out-of-town/online adopters, we request that they call us, so we can email them the adoption application. We can give a tentative approval based solely on their application.
We do not allow adoption applications to be filled out before an animal is up for adoption nor do we reserve animals.
