O.H.C.A.A.T. (One Homeless Cat At A Time)

Aztec, NM

Our Mission

Our organization originally focused on cats and kittens from feral/free-roaming colonies. For a time, we had foster homes willing and able to foster small dogs and/or puppies so we helped those we could. Currently, we have no foster homes so have not been able to take in new foster animals.

We had several good years, thanks to all who have fostered, volunteered, adopted, donated or contributed in any way!  We absolutely could not have done it without YOUR Help!!

Starting January 1, 2017, we had our own 501c3 status.

Without foster homes and committed volunteers to help run the show, we can not carry on with our mission. Our greatest need now is more Foster homes!!!  If you have a spare room, a little spare time and some love to share, we would love to talk to you about fostering!  Please text Amy @ 505-860-0228  or email ohcaat@yahoo.com. And, we always need funds to cover vet care and, having enough to cover food & litter for foster homes would really be huge for us!  Some of our current fosters are cutting back on the number they can foster and some are no longer fostering

Adoption Policy

We have an application for potential adopters that helps us to make a good match of personalities and situations.  Email ohcaat@yahoo.com to receive an adoption application.

We have a modest adoption fee which helps us to recover a portion of the veterinary care they receive while in our care.

We do not have a physical facility so all animals are fostered in our homes, with our own families and fur-families.
