Our Mission

Rescue Me Yorkie Rescue, located in Whiting, New Jersey, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Yorkshire Terriers in need. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for Yorkies who have been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered, ensuring they receive the necessary medical care and attention.

Rescue

We rescue Yorkshire Terriers from shelters, puppy mills, and homes where they can no longer be cared for. We strive to give every Yorkie a second chance at a happy life.

Rehabilitation

Our rehabilitation process includes comprehensive medical care, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, dental care, and treatment for illnesses or injuries. Our team of veterinarians and caregivers work closely with each Yorkie to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.

Rehoming

Finding the perfect forever home for each Yorkie is our ultimate goal. We vet potential adopters thoroughly to ensure they can provide a safe and loving home. Our adoption process includes home visits, reference checks, and ongoing support.

Education and Advocacy

We educate the public on responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent overpopulation. Through community outreach and partnerships with other animal welfare organizations, we work to improve the lives of Yorkies and other animals in need.
