Our Mission
Our Mission at TrustRescue is to unite dog lovers in a shared pursuit of ending unnecessary euthanasia. Through education, direct lifesaving, relationships, and innovation, we act with integrity, faithfulness, and love to ensure a brighter future for adoptable dogs.
Through proactive planning, bold data-driven decision making, and transparent collaboration, we maximize our life-saving impact, providing responsible support to rescue and aid as many dogs as possible.
We nurture a culture of inclusivity, open communication, and positivity, fostering strong relationships and partnerships that prioritize diversity, equality, and transparency in all we do externally and internally regarding rescue and what it means to us.
We educate and innovate to improve life for all dogs and their humans. We provide resources, guidance, and educational materials on rescue dogs, their behavior and responsible pet ownership. We continuously review and revise our processes to stay at the forefront of animal rescue both philosophically and technologically.
Adoption Policy
There are two ways to adopt a dog through Trust Rescue:
Option 1:
Submit an application online.
Application undergoes checks and review by an Adoption Counselor.
If pre-approved, a meet is scheduled (typically Wednesday or Saturday).
Option 2:
Attend an adoption event.
Spend time with the dogs and submit an application on-site.
Once the application passes checks, the dog can go home the same day.
Adoptions follow a semi-open process based on best practices from Best Friends Animal Society, HASS, and Maddie’s Fund.
